Job Description:
Plant E&I technicians are hired as members of the maintenance team within SDBC's high performance work teams.
Technician work teams are responsible for keeping production flowing, meeting performance goals and maintaining the high level of quality that consumers expect from our products.
E&I Technicians provide electrical, pneumatic and mechanical skills in the set-up, repair and operation of production equipment and related systems.
Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-speed making, packing and other production related equipment using basic hand, power, and diagnostic tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drills, Ohm meters, voltage testers, laptop computers, etc.
Technicians are expected to get involved, take charge of situations and confront business-related problems.

This person is responsible for programming,rebuilding, and installing production equipment to insure continuous production of all products.
Repairs malfunctioning production equipment; i.e., fillers, conveyors, drives, coolers, palletizing and boxing components.
This position is 10%-15% PLC, Electrical and 80%-85% Mechanical.

Qualifications:
•18+ years of age
•High School Diploma or GED
•5+ years as controls technician or engineer in a production environment; previous bottling experience a plus.
•5+ years industrial repair and maintenance of electro-pneumatic mechanical machines and systems.
•5+ years experience troubleshooting circuits and strong knowledge of PLC based system (Allen Bradley PB32
Software)
•Experienced in Rockwell Software RSLogix, 5, 500 & 5000.
•Experienced in Review Enterprise
•Must have the ability to work with Rockwell Bizware Historian.
•Control circuit systems
•Servo drive system
•Must be self-motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and possess the ability to work with little supervision.
•Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing and TPM principles preferred.
•Proficient computer skills
•Demonstrated Leadership Skills
•Proven Safety Record
•Ability to work all shifts
•Ability to work overtime as required.
•Ability to work independently as well as in a diverse team environment.
•Must have own tools.
•Good manual dexterity and motor coordination, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, bend, stoop, and reach as well as wear all required PPE and protective clothing and accessories.
