Job Description:
This position oversees the shipping department on shift with responsibility for the proper storage and handling of finished goods, adherence to safety procedures and providing accurate, timely shipments, direct activities to meet the operations objectives of the company. Leader on duty responds to customer and associate concerns relating to warehousing and distribution of finished goods.

1. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as required.
2. Comply with Sunny Delight Beverage's policies and procedures.
3. Plan, direct, and coordinate all shipping activities while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.
4. Coordinates employee work assignments to achieve inbound and outbound service requirements.
5. Performs administrative or logistical management duties in support of warehouse operation, including reconciliation of cycle count disparities, analysis of purchase orders and FIFO procedures.
6. Ensures warehouse employees receive training.
7. Responsible for achieving warehouse metrics to include - but not limited to - FIFO procedures, On-Time Loading, and Shipment Accuracy.
8. Ensure the shipping area has adequate supplies and materials and area is neat, clean and organized.
9. Coordinates unloading/loading of inbound/outbound shipments in accordance with established procedures while ensuring that inventory controls are maintained in order to guarantee accuracy of system inventory records.
10. Oversee the receipt and dispersal of finished goods entering and leaving the warehouse.
11. Reviews shipping documents for accuracy and completeness.
12. Assist Shipment Planner by identifying work procedures; prepare work schedules and expedite workflow.
13. Respond to inquiries, problems, and requests in an appropriate and timely manner.
14. Perform additional tasks, special projects, and responsibilities as needed.

• Supervision with inventory control and cycle counting 2-5 years.
