Job Description:
Plant technicians are hired as engaged members of a high performance work system. Technician work teams are responsible for operating production lines, keeping production flowing, meeting performance goals and maintaining the high level of quality that consumers expect from our products.


The Line Takeaway Technician's primary job function is removing pallets from the production line using a fork truck, scanning them into the computer inventory system, and placing them in designated warehouse racks with no damage, according to standard procedures.

The Line Takeaway Technician may, on occasion, assist Warehouse Technicians in loading/unloading trucks.

Additionally, the Line Takeaway Technician performs various types of work such as: assisting Plant Production Technicians, cleaning and maintaining high-speed making, packing and other production related equipment; using basic hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drills, grinders, etc. All technicians are expected to be engaged in continuous improvement activities, demonstrate initiative to drive such activities, demonstrate ownership of business results, maintain an efficient and professional environment by performing in accordance with our site vision at all times. Line Take Away Technicians are actively involved in maintaining inventory accuracy and GMP standards, inspect quality of the pallets received and participate in maintenance activities, and reduce property damages through safe practices. The Operations Leader is the role owner for this position, and you are encouraged to seek any additional clarification that you may need from him prior to submitting for the role.

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must be able and willing to submit to and pass a drug screen and physical
- Must be willing and able to pass a background check of 7 years
- Must have a stable work history
- Must be willing to work a rotating shift
- Must possess a valid state driver's license


- Individuals with fork truck and warehouse experience in manufacturing processes including operating and fork trucks, inventory computer systems and product distribution systems should apply in accordance with safety standards.
- Possess a strong technical aptitude, proven leadership, problem solving skills, solid interpersonal skills, computer skills (Data Bases, Excel, Word, or equivalent), and ability to work well in a team-based, diverse culture and with experience in warehousing or packing operations.


- Competitive wages starting at $15.75/hr PLUS additional $0.75/hr for shift rotation.
